Seal Repair and Refurbishment
Fast, reliable seal repair when your equipment starts to fail
When a mechanical seal begins to leak or lose performance, you do not always need a replacement. In many cases, a proper seal repair and refurbishment restores the seal to full working condition at a fraction of the cost of buying new.
Our service is built around practical engineering rather than paperwork. We identify the real cause of the failure, carry out the correct seal repair, and return the seal to you running exactly as a new one would.
What seal repair includes
A proper seal repair and refurbishment is far more than re-lapping a face or swapping an o-ring. We dismantle the seal completely, clean every component and inspect the materials, wear patterns and tolerances.
Worn elastomers, springs and metal parts are replaced. Seal faces are re-lapped to a perfect finish. Any surface damage or distortion is corrected so the seal runs smoothly when it returns to service.

Why choose seal repair instead of buying new?
A well-executed seal repair offers identical performance to a brand-new seal and typically costs around 50 per cent less. It also avoids long lead times, OEM delays or sourcing obscure parts for older equipment.
For many clients, seal repair and refurbishment is the most sensible and cost-effective long-term approach.
Any seal, any brand
We carry out seal repair on all mechanical seal types:
Single mechanical seals
Double mechanical seals
Cartridge seals
Slurry, fibrous and abrasive media seals
Hygienic and pharmaceutical seals
Mixer and agitator seals
Bespoke and obsolete OEM seals
If the seal is damaged beyond recovery or the duty has changed, we will tell you plainly. You will always get honest advice.
ATEX-rated seal refurbishment
Where your equipment operates in hazardous zones, we can complete a full seal repair and refurbishment using ATEX-rated components built for ATEX Category 2, Zone 1 and Zone 21.
This ensures the repaired seal remains compliant and safe for use in a controlled environment.
